“Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
The true message of this verse is one that I am just starting to understand. When I am weak... THEN I am strong because I am no longer trying to finish it on my own. THEN I have to rely on His help. THEN I realize how utterly pathetic my own attempts are.
Today, I realized a weakness, and because of this verse, I am able to say “God reveal Yourself through this. Show Yourself stronger than my weakness. I can’t wait to see how You solve this one.”
